Love Yourself!

1)   LOVE THYSELF! Don't put yourself down, feed yourself with good thoughts and compliments.
Treat yourself like the way you would treat your loved one, respect, care, and love!

2)   Do what you love to do! Whether it dance, sing, cook, shop, sleep, read, etc. There should always be time for you! Life is way too short to sit around and do nothing, so live your life!

3)   Enjoy the little things! The small pleasures in life can make a difference if you choose it to. The smiles you get from reminiscing about the good times you had with your friends and family, the lone time you got when you went on a short walk by yourself, something you ate yesterday, anything!

4)   Laugh! Laughing is one of the best ways to deal with issues that you have, it might not fix it, but it will make you forget for awhile while you enjoy yourself with the people around you that love and adore you!

5)   Stay humble! Nobody likes to give compliments to someone who brushes them off arrogantly.

Living can be difficult sometimes, actually, most of the time. But everyone has their own way of coping with life. Knowing what you can do and knowing how to do it, is a big step in changing your course. Just acknowledging the fact that you know you are going to have a life with certain surprises will keep you on your toes, be prepared for anything and everything! In some cases, whenever I'm about to do something that puts either my life or my emotions, I always think of it as being a trap, that way, when something bad really does happen, it doesn't surprise me as much. Sometimes our dreams become a reality, we can't bear the thought of going through another day of what we call torture. But when we sleep, when we have beautiful dreams instead of having nightmares, we sometimes live within our dreams, and when we wake up, nostalgia takes over.

My Initial Thoughts On: The Giver

This book has really spoken to me, in all my years of school every English teacher hands us a book and tells us to read it, and every year I do the same thing: I don't read it. However, this semester is different, the book The Giver by Lois Lowry left me wanting more! Suspense, surprises and emotions emotions emotions!! It was such an amazing book, it gave me so much emotion, and when reading books, I usually don't feel anything! There are good books and there are great books out there, and this is definitely a great book.

From The Beginning

The artist continues to paint the sky
With leaves creating his canvas
And on the lawn he lays on his chair and spins
Creating art that is not created by a paint brush
But with movement like water

The leaves become feathers
Nostalgia is nearing the heart
Without further a do
He wakes up from his dream
But he forgets

Elemental Hand Shapes

For those of you who follow the series, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra

Those 5 Looks from The Giver

The Giver, "Guiding, Inspirational, Virtuous, Eccentric, Refined"

G uiding- So far this novel has guided me through the first chapters, I hope it can do more.

I nspirational- Jonas' way of life is different than ours, yet he finds a way to make it better for himself.

V irtuous- The morals and principles of the story are clear on to what its like in a different world.

E ccentric- Kind of weird and creepy at times, mostly odd.

R efined- This book has been brought up from many decades and generations.

So Privacy or a New Identity? Which One?

Come on you guys, choose one! It's just a matter of choice! You either create a new persona on the interwebz or keep everything to yourself. Yeah I guess if you chose the path of trying to be someone you're not on Facebook or Twitter... Or Instagram... Or Vine.... But who cares?!
Lets go with A New Identity. We've all made a persona at some point in our life, it doesn't matter where. In video games, especially RPGs (Role Playing Games), we create a character and give it another name. Why? Because we can that's why! If you do create a whole new persona on the interwebz, make them stand out, be the "popular" kid. Post a lot of pictures of you and food and your pets and post a bunch of statuses about what you're doing. And if you're reading this and trying to learn something from it... You are so screwed.
